We have a Cocker Spaniel and a Rescue Dog (gorgeous, but of unknown heritage). Last night, on the beautiful summer evening it was, my daughter and I took the pups out to our old farmyard for a walk.
The dogs bounded into a nearby bush, growled and came leaping out. Skunk! Perfect hit. We called my husband, who came and picked us up with the truck. I rode in the back with the dogs the short drive back to town.
So, Skunk-Off and a home brew remedy later, I think I smell “clean, floral scented skunk”!
